Meet Mr Blue and his Companion.

Mr_Blue_Snowmen_Blog.JPG

Good evening everyone, what an absolutely beautiful day it has been, especially for October.  It really makes me feel so much better when the sun is shining.

These are two of last week's projects,  this time I painted them in white although it did take 3 coats of acrylic paint.  I think I may use primer next time.  I am not a big fan of painting but I enjoy painting these.

The scarf of the first Snowman was a bit of an experiment but I think I got it sorted in the end.  I started with a Tea Green promarker but it was too dull.  Then I tried Wow! Iced Silver Embossing Powder but it just wasn't perfect and the silver glitter was all to one side, then I tried Stampendous Satin Pearl embossing powder ... still not right,  I then finished it with Stampin Up Irridescent Ice embossing powder.  I think I am happy with it now.  I was covered in glitter and embossing powder by the time I was finished.  I really dislike loose glitter but hey I sparkled so that's good!!! Lol!

I decided after all that, that the second scarf would just be white and embossed with the Stampin Up Irridescent Ice embossing powder.  The hats were painted with black acrylic paint and then embossed in the same way.

Thankfully Mr Blue and his Companion look less drunk than the last one I made. Smile  To be honest I was not 100% sure whether I liked the blue paper or not but I really enjoyed making them and it's always fun to experiment once in a while!!

I also truly believe when it comes to craft and in fact anything in life  ... If you enjoy doing it ... that really is the most important thing!

I will have more projects next week as I have some already finished and one I want to start and complete this week so I will be back very soon.

In the meantime please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any queries, I also wish you all a very relaxing Sunday evening and a brilliant week.

Bye for now,

Take care,

Heather
