July Card Class.
Happy Monday everyone, I hope you are all having a fantastic Summer!! Isn't it great that the weather has been so good! I am sorry these cards are a little late at being added to the blog, they were the ones we made at the last class at the beginning of July before the holidays.
They included a Birthday Card, a card I thought would be suitable as a notecard and a Baby Boy Card. I enjoyed creating these and also enjoyed teaching them. Thank you as always to everyone who attended and to all those who have attended so far this year. Mum and I really enjoy the chat and the fun and I know Mum enjoys making supper for everyone. :)
My next Classes are on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th August and at the minute I am intending these to be Christmas Cards. I will have more Class Dates in the coming weeks.
The 'When it rain look for rainbows card' is an unbranded stamp and die set and I love it, it was a fun card to design and I love the colour combination - very Spring/Summer ... I think! I haven't used promarkers in a little while so it was nice to colour in again.
Anyone who knows me knows I love Sunflowers and when I saw this die set I just had to buy it. Again it is an unbranded set. The fence die was from a magazine a couple of years ago and I finished the card off with a small wooden ladybird. I added a quote to this card instead of giving it a theme and thought it would be nice to just write a wee note in.
I decided I would like to make a card with a Giraffe on it and although I don't have a die to cut one, I remembered the Cricut New Arrival cartridge had one so I was able to create this card. I had originally planned either a shaker card or to cut an opening and have the giraffe peak out but in the end decided on this design. The background paper is Echo Park, although checks aren't always easy to work with, this wasn't too bad.
At the minute I am busy making bits and pieces for the Castlecaulfield Horticultural Society Craft Fair at Parkanour on Saturday 17th August. Mum has lots made so I decided I better get busy. I have quite a lot of little post it notes made and am hoping to get some notebooks started in the next few days. Busy Busy!!!
I am now off to edit some photgraphs for ebay ... although I may have to have a cuppa first.
I hope you all have a fantastic afternoon / evening. I will be back soon.
Bye for now.
