Christmas Cards
Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope your week has gone well so far. My week is going so quickly but it is good to have lots to keep me occupied.
I have just spent the afternoon with a lovely group of ladies in Castlecauflied. We made these cards, I had a really enjoyable afternoon and am looking forward to going back again next week. I even have some ideas for our next cards.
The first card above with the little dog is my favourite out of the three, every year I try to make at least one card out of an old recycled Christmas Card. I added some snowflake card at the side, the little scottie dog, the snowflake, some gems and the ribboned tag. I really enjoyed making this card.
The Sizzix Bigz Tim Holtz lamp post die is my newest purchase and I love it. I was going to put a snowman beside it but found some little embellishments in my craft stash (which have been there for years) and after an eBay search I was able to find some more for the class. There were several designs to choose from which meant everyone's card was just a little bit different. I embossed the white background with the Stampin Up Falling Snow folder which I love and added a Christmas Wishes tag. Quite a quick card to make and again I enjoyed making it.
The third card was originally supposed to have a penguin on it but when the igloos arrived my penguin was just too large for it so I remembered I had this little polar bear. It is a Stampendous stamp and die set, I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento, cut it out on the Cuttlebug and added just a little bit of colour. I could probably have added some sparkle to his scarf, which I may still do.
I think that is all for now, I will have more Christmas card ideas next week, in the meantime I hope you all have a lovely evening and a great week.
I am off to spend some time with Poppy.
Bye for now, Take care, Heather :)
